My wife and I attended the Catholic Foundation Gala on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
This amazing event was created to raise financial support for tuition assistance to the Catholic schools so that they can continue to provide children with a solid foundation in both academics and faith.
One of our favorite parts of the evening was the opportunity to hear an 8th Grade student read his first place essay on how his Catholic education has positively impacted his life. We also got to hear Mr. John Quinones, the host of What Would You Do, tell us how his education and faith took him from migrant worker to his 35 year television news career with ABC News and the anchor desk position with 20/20 and Primetime.
We thank all the individuals and corporate sponsors that continue to “Do Good” things for the families in our community.
Mi esposa y yo fuimos al Gala de la Fundación Católica el sábado 3 de febrero de 2018.
Este increíble evento fue creado para recaudar apoyo financiero para la asistencia de matrícula a las escuelas católicas para que puedan continuar proporcionando a los niños una base sólida tanto en lo académico como en la fe.
Una de nuestras partes favoritas de la noche fue la oportunidad de escuchar a un alumno del 8th grado leer su primer ensayo sobre cómo su educación católica ha tenido un impacto positivo en su vida.
